Cosmic Canines Racing

We are a small racing kennel based out of Two Rivers and Fort Yukon, Alaska. Comprised of 30 dogs we are focused on preserving the "old school" village dogs from the Yukon Flats Area. Bred for toughness, speed, and personality, these dogs explempilfy the dogs used for travelling, hunting, trapping, and racing for hundreds of years by Gwi'chin Athabaskan Alaskan Natives. Combining bloodlines and husbandry practices from these "old school" mushers with modern advances in dog care and gear we hope to put these dogs in the winner's circle, where they belong! Born in Oklahoma, raised in New Jersey, and made for Alaska, I am a 40 year old woman chasing her childhood dream. With a passion for dogs and adventure from a very early age, dog mushing is a perfect fit. My other interests include; astronomy, astrology, poetry, hunting, fishing, baking, running, mountain biking, archery, goats, cheese-making, gardening, and living a subsistence lifestyle.
